First produced in 1934, the bar pattern features a heavy square base with flat cut sides. The iconic Bar collection, which has entranced customers for more than eight decades: squares and circles meet each other. When the designer Rudolf Eschler combined these two worlds together, a cut glass with a playful optical illusion of melting ice cubes was born. The massive square base gives stability to the hand-cut and polished glasses of various sizes, the jug, and the carafe, while light reflections play on their curves.
