These miniature portraits are from the personal art collection of the late Italian designer Gianni Versace

The portraits were last offered by Sotheby’s London in the March 18, 2009 sale of Paintings, Furniture and Works of Art From The Collection of Gianni Versace from the Villa Fontanelle in Moltrasio Italy.

Both miniature portraits were painted by W. A. Thompson in approx. 1847-1848, using gouache (opaque watercolor).
