These antique porcelain apothecary druggist jars come in stylish white and their ornate design is almost reminiscent of the classic Medici urn. Complete with lid. Labels written in Gothic type. Mark underside of foot: BC. Early 20th century. 12 jars in total. $250 each. Repairs noted on some jars.

“Lavanda” (360View) = lavender, a medicinal herb famous for its fragrance and traditionally used to treat anxiety, depression, and fatigue
“Aconito” (360View)= aconite or monkshood; owing to its toxic alkaloids also known as queen of poisons
“Enula” (
360View)= elecampane, a medicinal herb whose root is traditionally used to treat lung diseases
“Erisimo” (
360View)= hedge mustard, also known as singer’s plant for its for its traditional use to treat voice and respiratory ailments
